Dolmuş · Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

This policy explains what data the Dolmuş mobile game (“the game”), developed by Ekrem Sekman (“we”), processes and how. It has been prepared with regard to Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In short

  • You do not need to create an account to play. We do not ask for your email address or phone number. You may enter a name on your profile if you wish; this name stays only on your device.
  • Your game progress, coins, tasks, and settings are stored on your device and may be included in your phone’s own backup (for example, iCloud). We have no server of our own; we cannot see this information.
  • Ads run through Google AdMob, purchases through Apple and RevenueCat, and rankings through Apple Game Center. These services process the data described below under their own policies.

Ads: Google AdMob

The game is free and shows ads. Google AdMob, which serves the ads, may collect the following data:

  • The device’s advertising identifier (on iOS, only if you have granted tracking permission),
  • IP address and the approximate location based on it,
  • Device and operating system information, and interactions with ads,
  • Crash and performance information.

This data is used to show ads, to measure the effectiveness of ads, and to prevent fraud. Personalized ads are shown only if you give permission: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland you are asked through Google’s consent form, and on iOS through Apple’s tracking permission. If you do not give permission, the game works the same way and ads are not personalized. You can change your permission choice on the game’s Settings screen (in regions where this is required) or under iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Details: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Purchases: Apple and RevenueCat

Payment for in-app purchases is taken by Apple; we do not see your payment information. We use the RevenueCat service to verify purchases and to bring them back with “Restore Purchases.” The game connects to RevenueCat when it opens; RevenueCat processes a random app identifier that does not identify you, and your purchase history (which product was purchased and when).

Details: Apple Privacy Policy and RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Rankings: Apple Game Center

The League screen uses a Game Center leaderboard. If you are signed in to Game Center, your total number of stars is sent to the leaderboard and is visible to other players together with the name you use in Game Center. Using Game Center is optional; it is managed under iPhone Settings → Game Center.

Children

The game is not specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.

Retention and deletion

Game data on your device is deleted when you delete the game; you can also delete your progress with “Reset progress” on the game’s Settings screen. Data stored by Google, RevenueCat, and Apple is subject to the retention periods in their own policies.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK and under the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, to request its correction or deletion, and to object to its processing. The data protection laws where you live (for example the LGPD in Brazil or the CCPA in California) may give you further rights. Because we hold no data about you other than the data on your device, your requests should mostly be directed to the relevant service (Google, RevenueCat, Apple); we will help you with this.
